Quarter after quarter, National Television's share of the advertising pie continues to grow, generating $11.9 Billion in advertising revenues in 2Q06 - up 5.0% from year ago.

I would rank television advertisement behind radio these days, thanks to Tivo or DVR. I can't remember the last time I watched a "primetime" show or sporting event where I didn't skip through the commercials. I feel the best bang for your buck goes with direct-mail or print advertising.

I agree, and also don't forget XM and Sirus radio with plenty of commercial free stations...
