Ok Boys and Girls, 4 teams left.
Predictions please, for the glory and the honor of being the first to pick right. Who makes it to the Big Game and who wins?? I started this thread, so I get first pick. Saints and Horses. Saints finish their miracle year with a Super Bowl trophy. Are you ready for some championship football?

Thanks to everyone who jumped into the excitement last week.
It's da Bears and the Colts in the Big Game, now. Is there anyone who believes da Bears can win? ps - You know what the Saints' favorite training food is? Turnovers. Congrats to the Saints, anyway, on the best season in their 40-year history!

I'll give my prediction next Monday.
I'd have jumped into this sooner, but I'm doing well to just know which city the Bears and Colts are each from! ![]()

Fooled you all!
This is still the Superbowl Pool. Knowing how many baseball fans we have here, I baited the hook with a more approriate title. Now that you're here, who want's to bet that one of Budweiser's commercials will earn the most aftergame chitchat (I was going to write aftergame buzz, but beer and buzz go together a little too well. )

Super Bowl Trivia:
I've heard it claimed that there is one company that has advertised on every Super Bowl since it has been televised. Can anyone name that company?

According to an interesting article dated January 17, 2007, from TNS Media, "Actually, the perennial leader is promotional advertising from the network itself. In a typical Super Bowl, one-fourth of all commercial time is a plug by the network for its own programming." http://www.tns-mi.com/news/01172007.htm
On the other hand, I have to believe the company that receives the most benefit from SuperBowl advertising is the NFL. Talk about product placement, and they have been there every year. Ok, Chatter, what company were you thinking of? Here's a first for you. This is the first year that brothers will be working on the field as officials in a Superbowl. Umpire: Carl Paganelli and Back Judge: Perry Paganelli Mama Paganelli should be very proud!

Well, I didn't watch the game at all, but a big congrats to the Colts!
![]() db7 - great guesses! I suppose that they both work too.... I had heard it was Masterlock. I suppose it could be untrue, but as of 1997(?), that's what I was told. ![]()
