Unhappy Baseball 2007 ... Five Outrageous Activities

Well,

Can't wait for the season to begin. Let's agree on one thing before we make our list of 5 Outrageous activities. The Yankees are going to win the 2007 World Series.
Despite all the money Tribune Company is putting into the Cubs they are going to be more controversial off the field than on it (I think they would have been smarter to put that money into their newspaper and television business).
Boston's outlandish money (over $100,000,000) they have put into a pitcher from Japen who hasn't even pitched in a major league game. And how about the non-thinking Red Sox trying to make Papelbon (one of the games premier closers) a starter and then place him back in the bull pen like it was some stoke of genius ... third place was a hard pill to swallow in Boston last year.
Sammy Sosa in Texas? I could see placing a circus act in Denver for a few long bombs for the fans from a hitter who will bat .230.
Barry Bonds moving to the third slot in the Giants lineup and he acts like he's a real team player to do so.
Pete Rose admits he gambled so we're suppose to gamble on him with another chance in baseball. Place him in the Hall of Fame and ban him once and for all from taking part in any way with professional baseball.
Well, there you have it ... swing away at my selections .... I'm looking forward to your posts!

Default Cleveland's Strongest Start

It is Monday, April 9th and I have never seen Cleveland this far into a season with no errors. Oh, the fact that their opener has been snowed out so far MAY have something to do with it
Just glad I don't live in Cleveland anymore!

Default Indians

The Tribe will score a lot of runs again this year but pitching won't hold up. How's your right arm? They may want you back in Cleveland.
